Payments must be made in the manner and within the timeframe agreed at booking or on the invoice. We may request full payment before work begins, a deposit at the time of booking, or payment immediately after completion, depending on the nature of the job and the customer’s status. Accepted payment methods may vary and will be confirmed at the point of sale. Unless stated otherwise, all prices are quoted in pounds sterling and include any applicable taxes as required by law. The customer must pay the full amount due without deductions, set-off, or withholding unless required by law.

Access to the property, parking, keys, security codes, and similar arrangements must be organised by the customer unless we agree otherwise. We may refuse to handle items that are excessively heavy, hazardous, or unsafe to move. Where we assist with moving items, we do so at the customer’s request and at the customer’s risk except where loss or damage is caused by our negligence.

We will take reasonable care when carrying out a professional carpet cleaning service and will use methods and products that are generally suitable for the materials identified by the customer or apparent on inspection. However, outcomes may vary depending on fibre type, previous cleaning history, dye stability, wear, and pre-existing damage. Some stains and marks may not be fully removable. We do not guarantee the complete removal of all stains, odours, or contamination, especially where items have been affected by ageing, flooding, pet accidents, sun fading, or improper previous treatment.

Liability is limited to losses that are directly caused by our proven negligence, breach of contract, or failure to use reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or damage arising from pre-existing defects, normal wear and tear, or the inherent nature of the materials cleaned. Customers are encouraged to remove small valuables before the service begins.

Where a claim is made for damage, the customer must notify us promptly and provide reasonable evidence, including photographs and a description of the issue. The customer must also allow us a fair opportunity to inspect the affected item and, where appropriate, to remedy the problem. Our total liability for any one claim will not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to that claim, except where a higher limit is required by law. This limitation applies to the maximum extent permitted by the law of England and Wales. We may suspend or end the service if we discover a hazard that has not been disclosed. In such cases, the customer may still be charged for the time spent and any costs already incurred. We are not obligated to handle or transport waste that falls outside ordinary carpet cleaning residue or that requires a licensed specialist contractor.

We will take reasonable precautions to protect nearby surfaces, skirting boards, furniture, and fixtures, but some moisture, odour, or temporary fibre disturbance may occur during cleaning. The customer should allow adequate drying time and ventilation after the service. We do not accept responsibility for damage resulting from items being returned to the carpet too soon, from failure to ventilate the area, or from the use of cleaning products not supplied or approved by us. If the customer requests the application of a protector, deodoriser, or specialised treatment, the customer accepts that performance may vary according to usage and environmental conditions.

Complaints, customer responsibilities, and general terms

Customers must provide honest and complete information when requesting a quote or booking. This includes details of pets, stains, prior treatments, access limitations, sensitive materials, and any known risks. If inaccurate information causes us to quote incorrectly or brings additional work beyond what was agreed, we may amend the price or terminate the booking. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the property is suitable for the service and that any children, pets, or vulnerable persons are supervised during the visit.

We may use subcontractors or qualified associates to perform all or part of the service where necessary. In such cases, the service remains subject to these terms, and we remain responsible for arranging the work in a competent manner. Any advice we provide about drying times, aftercare, or the suitability of future cleaning is given in good faith and should be followed carefully, but it does not create a guarantee unless confirmed in writing. The customer should not rely on informal statements that are not part of the accepted booking or invoice.

Governing law and jurisdiction: these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute, claim, or matter arising out of or in connection with the service or these terms shall be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer rules provide otherwise. If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. No waiver of any right or remedy shall be effective unless made in writing.
